Judge
Barbara Jones of the U.S. District Court in Manhattan
should be held in high regard, as a Champion of the
people and for the conviction of her actions in the
Bernie Ebbers, World.Com financial scandal. The
no bull sentence of Bernie Ebbers (25 years) rang a
bell heard far and wide. Now we need a couple
more sentences just like it!! Not for the bloodlust,
or revenge but to assure deterrence in the future and
send the message to those white collar criminals
contemplating felonious activity against the savings
of the public at large that the penalties are going to
be greater than any potential gains.
It
is my understanding that Mr. Ebbers lost essentially
all of his assets, obviously not the worst of it. It
was also reported that his wife retained $50,000.00
and a modest home in Mississippi. I guess we will
just have to wait and see on that one.

I
would just like to know when can we move on from
assigning a number for Mr. Ebbers to 3 or 4 Rouge:
Judges, Lawyers, Prosecutors, Policeman and
Politicians of all stripes that believe they are not
required to abide with the rules of law, by privilege.
Keep up the good work and maybe, there really is hope
for equal justice in America.
